The New Orleans Four Proclamation Day

On Saturday November 14, 2020 the Honorable Mayor LaToya Cantrell will host a Proclamation Ceremony & Address to commemorate the Inaugural New Orleans Four Legacy Weekend on the 60th Anniversary of Desegregation in the Deep South in honor of The New Orleans Four.


She will bestow the highest honor of the City of New Orleans on Civil Rights Pioneers Leona Tate, Ruby Bridges, Gail Etienne & Tessie Prevost. They will each receive a Distinguished Proclamation and The Key to the City.
